Explorer-L90 has 9 super bright LEDs for lighting,with 4 working modes as follows: 2 bulb turned on, 9 bulbs turned on, 1 red bulb on and 1 red strobe. It's on/off button has a hidden location to ensure no accidental turn Off/Ons. It uses 3 AAA batteries with up to 220 hours of burn time, that are housed in a watertight box, located in back, for better comfort and balance. The body is made from high strength PC material with European ROHS standard and CE certification. It's impact/cold and water resistance and has been put to the test to ensure quality. Sunree
